Ciao Italia is a centre which specialises in teaching Italian to foreigners. It is a member of EDUITALIA (Organization representing the best schools teaching Italian as second language in Italy), and recognized PLIDA CELI Exams Centre (Università per Stranieri di Perugia). The school has been recognised for the BILDUNGSURLAUB by many German regions. Ciao Italia was founded by accredited teachers working in this field for more than 20 years.
The school is located in the historic centre of Rome, in the characteristic district of Monti, within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Fori, via Nazionale and the Central Railway Station. The school is close to two underground stops, “Cavour” (line B) and “Repubblica” (line A).
Ciao Italia is open the whole year round and offers courses for all levels from the beginners to advanced: group courses (maximum 12 students), individual teaching, business, art, cooking and painting.
On arrival, students take an entry test and are placed in classes according to their levels.

The students will study in small groups of 2/12 students of different nationalities with similar language levels. The small size of the classes guarantees particular attention as well as high quality of teaching.Ciao Italia organises many, free of charge, activities: Italian movies with introduction, guided tours, parties, lunches with the teachers, as well as special prices for museum, theatres, opera, concerts, and sports-clubs. The library, the video library and internet facilities are available for the students in the afternoon.
